Clare Sheerin is a Communications generalist, with proven experience in the additional areas of Marketing, Stakeholder Relations and Business & Fund Development - while specializing in Community Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Clare has spent 15 years working within the Energy, Agriculture and not-for-profit sectors in western Canada. Her experience and understanding of how business needs directly link to operating communities and employees has enabled her to be a full service consultant and advisor in all areas of Public Affairs. She has the expertise to see and create the broader strategy - with the hands on experience to focus in on and execute the details.

  • Developed and executed the 2013 Employee and Stakeholder, Southern Alberta Flood Relief Program for Husky Energy.

  • Developed, implemented and managed Viterra Inc.'s inaugural and current International Corporate Social Responsibility program.

  • Sourced and facilitated the largest corporate donation in Saskatchewan history, funding the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science Technology, through scholarships to address skilled labor deficits in Alberta, as well upgrading the Power Engineering Lab to ensure graduates were ready to enter the workforce fully trained on the most innovative technology, with Husky Energy. 

  • Facilitated the first and only sustainable Food Bank on the Siksika Nation in Southern Alberta, with Husky Energy. 

  • Creation and execution of an international Employee Giving Campaign, Husky Has Heart, with Husky Energy.

  • Recipient of the CAPP (Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers) Committee Awards, for work on the fire recovery for Slave Lake.

  • Receipient of the President's Award for Environmental Leadership, from TransAlta Corporation.

  • Sourced and secured the largest corporate sponsor in the history of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra.
